I. BANKING AND FINANCE

- acting on behalf of the Greek Government (pending), with regard to the securitisation of a portfolio of overdue tax claims with a value of €3-4 billion, which is one of the largest transactions ever undertaken in this jurisdiction

- acting for a number of international banks, investment banks and institutional investors, on matters involving financing, property financing, aircraft financing, refinancing, acquisitions or disposals of shareholdings, Greek equities, derivatives, the sale of financial products in Greece, as well as issues regarding foreign direct investment

- the offering of 5% of the Issued Share Capital in TIM Hellas SA by acting for a consortium in the 56 million (approx. USD 70m) offering of their shares in TIM Hellas which are listed on the Nasdaq and Amsterdam Exchanges

- acting on behalf of Fortis Bank in the establishment of a branch in Greece.

II. CORPORATE

- acting on behalf of York Capital in a complex privatisation, that of Olympic Airlines, where we have been retained for the fourth time by international investors

- acting on behalf of various major multinational firms in the establishment and legal support of their presence in Greece

- acting on behalf of leading international companies in the IT sector in deals in Greece

- acting for Boots Healthcare International in the sale of its Greek business to Reckitt Benckiser plc

- acting for a major electronics company in the US regarding its acquisition of a Greek semi- conductor manufacturer

- acting for BenQ Corporation in establishing a presence in the Greek mobile telephony market based upon its acquisition of Siemen's mobile telephony sector.

III. EMPLOYMENT

- acting on behalf of various companies and individuals in complex employment law matters in Greece, Central and Eastern Europe and America.

IV. LITIGATION

- acting for a major English property services provider in bringing criminal and civil proceedings against a hacker who manipulated its stock price via a remote connection

- acting for an American University formerly operating in Greece, in litigation connected with its decision to cease its academic operations in Athens.

v. REAL ESTATE

- acting on behalf of numerous investors in substantial real estate transactions in Greece, certain Balkan countries and Switzerland.
