Charis A. Loizou

Charis is a member of the Athens Bar Association; and was registered at the Cyprus Registry of Lawyers in November 2001 after completing her practice at the Attorney’s General Office.

She earned a law degree from the University of Leeds in 1999, and holds an M.A. in European Legal Studies from the Centre of Studying Law in Europe (Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence) of the University of Leeds.

Prior to joining the firm, Charis spent several years in the legal department of an established banking institution in Greece, providing advice in the areas of financial services and capital markets not only to the bank itself, but also to the subsidiaries of the group, including the Mutual Funds Management and Brokerage Company.

Charis practices primarily in the areas of banking, finance and capital markets.
